Checking Accounts
Personal Checking
Minimum balance to open the account is $25.00. A maintenance fee of $6.00 will be imposed every statement cycle unless you maintain either a minimum daily balance of $400.00 or a minimum average daily balance of $750.00 for the monthly statement cycle. A per item fee of $.20 will be charged for each debit transaction, if the minimum balance is not maintained. The average daily balance is calculated by adding the principal in the account for each day of the period and dividing that figure by the number of days in the period. The fees are waived if you have direct deposit or keep a balance of $1,000 in a savings account or certificate of deposit. Fees do not apply to senior citizens on social security or 65 or older, full time students or minors.
